Building upon the agrarian history of North Dakota and Fargo, this mixed-use development plan draws inspiration from ‘CULTIVATION’ as a metaphor that expresses and promotes the nourishment and growth of Fargo’s downtown rebirth (it’s Renaissance). Like seeds that are planted and nourished from the energy of sunlight and the moisture of water, the mixed-use block is envisioned as a crop of buildings and public spaces that yields cultural excitement, energy and celebration.
